What wedding favors should I use? And how many?
These are the ideas I'm tossing around ... (The wedding is September 6, 2008) - Single stem of bamboo shoots, herbs in small pots - linen covered notebooks with a matching feather clothing covered mini photo albums - evergreen recorded live tree glass votive candle holders want something eco-friendly and relatively cheap, we have 140 people coming to the wedding ... also another question - Do you need a favor for each guest, or each partner? Do I need 140 favors, favors or 70?
All your ideas are really beautiful. Usually (at least all the weddings I've been) is not a favor at each place - which would mean 140. If you are having assigned seating, then you can put whatever you enter a RSVPs and according to how many couples sit at that table in particular. That way you would be able to get to 1 in favor per couple. You can also use the favors as part of the part and just enough to put 1 / 2 the guests (taking into account all are bringing a guest) and make an announcement that the favors are organic and each pair to please bring one home to enjoy.
