How to mount and the development of a large (4'x6 ') print?
I have two maps of large size (approximately 4'x6 ') I'd like to mount and frame to hang on the wall. Find a support and covering material (glass or plastic), big enough was a challenge. Right now I'm thinking about using a sheet Gatorfoam for backup and a piece of 1 / 8 "clear acrylic for the front. I'm not sure about a frame. I was thinking in trying to use a socket or some adjustment of Home Depot. These are only $ 30 maps that I'm trying to hang up so you do not want to spend a lot of them to achieve, but I want to do more than record the wall. Anyone have other suggestions?
I would go for a cut in its local home depot. They prefinnished ones. Because they are so big I do not think it will be able to find a sufficiently large real part. You could also get a piece of wood on three-layer thats or four inches larger on each side (staining of them) and the tail of the maps below. then use detaling or egdes nails in the corners. Then use a thick layer varnish of good above all. I think I could do what my self with something smaller .................
