Have you tried to build a picture with acrylic medium? How long does it take?
It's a digital photo printed on an inkjet printer. I want to stick to the clear acrylic medium to put that into a collage. I've never done this before, but I know people have done with pictures from magazines. When I medium started much later, it becomes a mess so now I'm building to thin layers. When is sufficiently hard and dry, I can just peal off or should I wait few days? What if the document does not fall? Can I use the water to get it off, or to wash away the ink well?
I have read and tried this some time ago with a photo of the magazine. I touched in the middle as would be varnish, let dry, Emerse in the water, let it soak and gently rub the paper. Try a sample to see if you get the result you are looking for.
