Video editing PC?
I am a simple student and want to build my first PC system ever for personal use, such as video editing (heavy) by writing, Internet, email, upload digital video camera, loads of storage and photo album of pictures (actually large). I came up with the following specifications: Asus P5B Deluxe Motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz 2 GB DDR400 RAM SAPHIRE 11090-03-20R X1650 PRO Graphics Card Samsung HD 500 GB SERIAL LITEON DVD ± RW Windows XP Home Service Pack 2 Raidmax Sagitta case Thermaltake 500Watt power supply coolant CPU Cooler with 2 fans extra box of 19 "TFT LCD, Keyboard and Mouse Logitech internal 12 in 1 FlashMedia Reader / Writer what are your views on this specification? is the plate base, processor, RAM and graphics card work well together? I use win xp pro or win xp? Why? will use Frezer Arctic Cooling 64 Pro?
The specifications sound good, but could go with 4 GB of RAM and Windows Vista instead of XP ... The graphics handling in Vista is much more appropriate for what you want do.
